Inferring plant–plant interactions using remote sensing

چکیده
Rapid technological advancements and increasing data availability have improved the capacity to monitor evaluate Earth's ecology via remote sensing. However, sensing is notoriously ‘blind’ fine-scale ecological processes such as interactions among plants, which encompass a central topic in ecology. Here, we discuss how technologies can help infer plant–plant their roles shaping plant-based systems at individual, community landscape levels. At each of these levels, outline key attributes ecosystems that emerge product could possibly be detected by data. We review theoretical bases, approaches prospects inference assessed remotely. individual level, illustrate close-range tools interactions, especially experimental settings. use forests remotely sensed structure used dominant fundamental force plant communities. highlight vegetation states spatial patterns assess role local systems. Combining with theories, models, experiments, data-driven analysis algorithms will firmly embed techniques into context open new pathways better understand biotic interactions.

Drought Analysis of Alvand Boundary River Using Remote Sensing Data
Extended abstract 1- Introduction The study of the behavior of rivers in the arid and dry areas is one of the most important tasks in the country. Because the area has increased the effects of drought due to the sensitivity of the area and rainfall shortage, it causes changes in the flow and sediment regime, water resources, agriculture, and so on. Since plants react more precisely to t...
متن کاملAerosol Remote Sensing Using AATSR
The aim of this document is to describe the work I have been doing over the past year, and show how it will be built upon over the next two years to create a viable doctorate thesis. In this report I provide a brief overview of atmospheric aerosol (Chapter 1) and how we can use probe this aerosol in the atmosphere, focussing on the AATSR instrument in particular (Chapter 2). I then (Chapter 3) ...
متن کاملZone Functions Using Remote Sensing
There is an increasing demand amongst resource managers for cost-effective watershed-scale inventories of riparian buffer condition and function. Recent developments in image processing software and decreasing satellite imagery costs enable a new methodology that can help meet this demand. ASTER satellite imagery, which has 15 metre pixel size, is processed with image segmentation software to i...
متن کاملIdentification dust storms In West and South West of Iran Using remote sensing technology
One of the most important environmental challenges which exists in the Middle East and Iran in recent years is the phenomenon of dust. As regards the Western half of Iran is in proximity to large deserts and continually effects the country deserts dust and specially that western half and also the unpleasant effects that these dusts have on environment and people health; so the purpose of this s...
